EDL engineered an exclusive bi-metal and thermistor compensation network to automatically adjust for changes in room temperatures. This innovation alone distinguished the Pocket-Probe® Analog Pyrometer (the NMP) as the industry standard. Since it requires no batteries for operation, the NMP eliminates any potential sparks and is therefore ideal for areas at risk of explosion, or hazardous areas where fumes and gases may pose a potential safety risk. All EDL Pyrometers come with a complimentary General Calibration performed in the production department. This calibration involves checking the unit (without your specific sensor) at key temperature points using our calibrators to ensure accuracy. We also offer NIST Traceable Calibration through our lab, which includes stickers and a calibration certificate. The calibration cost covers both the sensor and the pyrometer. You can choose your preferred calibration temperature point or a Lab-Determined point based on your industry requirements.
