The Pocket-Probe® Pyrometer was initially designed—and named—to be lab-grade for lab-coat pockets. Today, this high-resolution, highly accurate instrument is used around the world in manufacturing, food & beverage, oil & gas, automotive, and more…and, of course, the lab. Delivering temperature measurement with 0.1% accuracy, 0.1% resolution, and 0.5% repeatability within temperature ranges of -454^o to 1999^o F^*, the portable Pocket-Probe® measures at 0.1^o for detailed data collection. Plus, you’ll get three readings per second—that’s more readings, faster, than most instruments on the market.

Durable, sturdy, and reliable, this instrument withstands the toughest field use. In fact, because EDL products are made with military-grade electronics, noise immunity comes standard for stable, uniform readings. And because it’s molded in-house (in the USA) from rugged ABS nylon, EDL controls the form, strength, and quality—and never compromises.

To withstand harsh environments and for easy cleaning, the Pocket-Probe® Pyrometers come standard with tempered glass display window and cover, so you can operate when closed. Lexan windows are available, which are a great option for the food industry, eliminating any risk of glass shards.
