Warranty Submission Form
Please complete the included Warranty Card and return it by USPS or complete the Warranty Submission online here. Electronic Development Labs, Inc. (EDL) warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of two years. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser (a purchase from EDL or recognized EDL distributor is an original purchaser). This warranty does not apply to (1) thermocouple tips or cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks, and dents; (2) consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; or (3) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes. In addition, EDL reserves the right to refuse warranty claims against products or services obtained and/or used in contravention of the laws of any country. Should EDL be unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable amount of time, the purchaser’s exclusive remedy shall be a refund of the purchase price upon return of the product. In the event of failure of a product covered by this warranty, EDL will repair the instrument when it is returned by the purchaser, freight prepaid, to our manufacturing facility within the applicable warranty period. Repairs or replacements will be made without charge and with return freight paid by EDL unless the failure was caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or abnormal conditions of operation of storage, in which case repairs will be billed at a reasonable cost. In such cases, an estimate will be submitted before work is started, if requested. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness, or adequacy for any particular purpose or use. EDL shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Please note thermocouple tips are NOT covered under warranty as they are prone to user error. Thermocouple tips must be handled with some care – they should be cleaned regularly and stored properly.
