Designed with a thermally conductive washer and an internally welded thermocouple wire, they offer quick mounting and continuous temperature monitoring.

EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.
Our lab will calibrate based on current standards for that industry.

Welded Washer Sensor

EDL’s Welded Washer Sensors are perfect for use in the marine and automotive industries and for any bolt-on application. These sensors can be easily tightened under any bolt size starting from 3/16” diameter and up. A thermally conductive washer with a thermocouple wire welded internally facilitates fast mounting and enables continuous, accurate temperature monitoring with this cost-efficient sensor.

The Welded Washer Sensor does NOT come with our standard lead. Instead, these sensors are equipped with a 55″ long stranded #20-gauge thermocouple grade wire with fused Teflon® insulation (lead type is dependent on the temperature ordered and may be built in Teflon, Glass, or for high temperatures Silica). Smaller diameters are available on special order.
