EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Tapered Cone Sensor

EDL’s Tapered Cone Sensor is an industry favorite and was built EDL tough. The Tapered Cone Sensor was designed with a sharp, durable tip, hardened to an impressive 55/57 RC. This makes it the perfect tool for effortlessly penetrating semi-solids and even asphalts.

We offer the sensor with our “S” Termination, featuring a reinforced mini-plug with a spring-armored cable lead, an ergonomic handle, and a nylon impact guard, ensuring it withstands even the toughest conditions while delivering precise measurements.

You’ll appreciate the versatility of our sensor, available in three temperature ranges (from 600 °F to 2000 °F), making it suitable for a wide range of applications. With the standard sensor offering lengths up to 12 inches, we also provide customization options for length and diameter to perfectly match your needs.
