EDL’s family of STS lab-grade calibrators are available in multiple sizes, in both aluminum and brass, to accommodate virtually any surface sensor. Precision machining by expert technicians in our U.S.-based shop guarantees accuracy—which can mean the difference between life and death in pipe fusion and oil/utility industries. Programmed and ready to use, our surface comes drilled to work with an independent PRT, if desired. And if your needs are outside of our “standard” standards, we’ll engineer a calibrator that’s just right for you.

All EDL STS calibrators can accommodate any PRT, with matched drill size. In addition to lab calibration of your STS, EDL can regularly calibrate PRTs—yours or ours. iTools software comes standard with purchase of all STS calibrators.

General use STS Calibrator (2”)

This easy-to-use 2” block is offered in both low- and high-temperature options. Fast cool-down and heat-up times provide great flexibility, allowing for more diverse surface sensor testing and adjustments throughout the day.

PRT for STS-SC1 and STS-SC2 (sold separately)

o Calibrated 0.125″ RTD Reference Sensor for STS (PN: STS-PRT-D-6)

o Calibrated temperature range: 0° C to 600° C

o 6” length with 0.125” (1/8″) diameter shaft with handle

o 48” (1219mm) 4-wire Teflon-insulated lead, with gold-plated instrument lugs

Large STS Calibrator (4”)

The STS-SC2-4 provides a 4” testing surface for stable, uniform readings. Simultaneously check multiple sensors with this extra-large surface. The aluminum block provides accurate and reliable readings up to 350o C.

o Calibrated 0.1875” (3/16″) RTD Reference Sensor (PN: STS-PRT-V-9)

o Calibrated temperature range: 0° C to 650° C

o 9” length with 0.1875” (3/16″) diameter shaft with handle
