Surface Sensors (Traditional)

EDL’s Surface Sensors are among the most popular options available for measuring flat, smooth surfaces. Their self-aligning, two-coil design allows for extremely fast response times. The basic sensor can operate at temperatures up to 650 °C (1200 °F), with high-temperature versions available. The ceramic head is securely cemented into a 2.5-inch aluminum handle, a removable 3-inch plastic extension handle is also included. These sensors are ideal for applications in plastics and glass processing, as well as various other industrial processing needs.

Handle 2.5” long, 0.625” diameter Aluminum w/ 3” removable plastic extension. Please note all 2.5” black powder coated handles are subject to change in diameter based on availability of raw materials.
