EDL’s Standard Needle Sensors use full hard hypodermic grade Stainless Steel in the needle section and feature a 5/16” diameter ceramic handle with a Stainless Steel insert. Our low temperature needles can monitor temperatures up to 600 °F. Higher temperature needles are insulated with Magnesium Oxide (MgO) or Alumina packed and can measure up to 1500 °F depending on the thermocouple type.
