With models designed for one specific temperature range, you get targeted performance whether you’re working in a laboratory setting or out in the field. Our SBB’s lightweight, compact design ensures portability and convenience without sacrificing accuracy.

  • SBB-1-DRL (Low-Range): Covers temperatures from -30 °C up to 110 °C (22 °F to 230 °F).
  • SBB-2-DRL (Mid-Range): Handles temperatures from ambient up to 350 °C (662 °F).
  • SBB-3-DRL (High-Range): Covers temperatures from ambient up to 650 °C (1200 °F).

SBB-1-DRL: Low-Temperature IR Calibrator:

  • Ideal for calibrating IR guns at cold temperatures, with advanced solid-state cooling technology capable of achieving temperatures as low as -30 °C (22 °F) under normal ambient conditions.
  • Foam plug prevents ice build-up on the target—no expensive gas purging required.
  • Accurately heats up to 110 °C (230 °F) in record breaking time.
    • Swift transitions: only ~ 20 minutes from ambient to either extreme!
  • Uses BB-350 Reference Probe.

SBB-2-DRL: Mid-Temperature IR Calibrator:

  • Stable black body target ideal for testing up to 350 °C (662 °F); perfect for a range of standard temperatuer points for IR calibrations.
  • Outstanding accuracy of < ± 0.5 °C and stability of < ± 0.05 °C.
  • Heats at >10 °C per minute; reaches 350 °C in just over 30 minutes and stabilizes within 15 minutes!
  • Uses BB-650 Reference Probe.

SBB-3-DRL: High-Temperature IR Calibrator:

  • Calibrates at temperatures up to 650 °C (1200 °F) for demanding IR calibration applications.
  • Accuracy of ± 0.5 °C with a stability of ± 0.05 °C.
  • Heats at >10 °C per minute
    • And attains full temperature in about an hour, with a 15-minute stabilization!
  • Uses BB-650 Reference Probe.
