EDL’s Roller Band Surface Sensors are specifically designed for use on flat and moving surfaces. Featuring three wheels, these sensors offer enhanced control and smoother tracking on high-speed surfaces of up to 1,200 feet per minute (365 meters per minute), ensuring proper contact for fast and accurate readings.

The bands are made from thick, full-hard stainless steel for increased durability. The bearings are engineered to resist high temperatures, dirt, and foreign substances. Replacement bands—sold separately—can be easily installed in just minutes. For applications involving higher temperature blocks or for permanent installations, please contact us about pricing and customized solutions.

These roller band sensors are perfect for measuring the temperatures of flat, moving surfaces and are especially suited for high-speed applications. The three wheels provide total user control, allowing for quick and accurate reading. You can save money by replacing the bands instead of the entire sensor, as replacement bands are readily available. We also offer high-temperature blocks and permanent options for your convenience, including fixtures and mounting plates.
