EDL’s Roller Contact Surface Sensors redefine precision and reliability with two outstanding versions: the RC Series, featuring a robust band and block, and the RCH Series, incorporating a practical band and handle. Our sensor handles are available in three distinct band sizes, expertly designed to accommodate a variety of applications, including rotating or stationary pipes, drums, tanks, hoses, and other cylindrical objects—no matter the diameter.

Please note this product is available in 2 versions: with Nylon Block *(RC) or With Handle (RCH) style. They are complete sensors and come with full leads. The RC & RCH Series Bands are not replaceable.

EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Designed for outstanding performance, these sensors can measure surface speeds of up to 2,500 feet per minute, helping you maximize operational efficiency. The RC version boasts a durable Nylon Block that is glass-filled for added resilience and can handle temperatures up to 200 °C (375 °F) effortlessly—making it ideal for demanding environments. If your project calls for higher temperature resistance or permanent setups, we’re eager to provide customized solutions at competitive prices.

Our bands are built to withstand extreme conditions too, capable of enduring temperatures up to 800 °F (425 °C) and even 1200 °F (650 °C) for those high-temp applications.
