Pocket-Probe® V combines the proven features of our original Pocket-Probe® with a handle and sensor extension for added flexibility and safety. The Pocket- Probe® V features the same reliable ruggedness, speed, & accuracy of the original PDK, while using direct plug-in “E” style sensor tips, eliminating the need for complete sensors with costly sensor leads. Regardless of the HBET-style sensor tip you need for your application, you can change tips quickly without dealing with the cumbersome leads of standard sensors. Convenient & cost-saving, Pocket-Probe® V keeps you working safely and efficiently regardless of where you are or what you are testing.
Housed in a heavy 16-gauge Stainless Steel enclosure with reinforced welded corners, this instrument is built EDL tough. It accurately delivers results under the most extreme conditions and offers protection from the roughest of abuses in the plant, laboratory, and the field. Pocket-Probe® V offers an unconditional 5-year warranty, real reliability, and actual value—savings in time & money. Virtually any EDL sensor is available in an “E” termination. When ordering sensors terminated in “E”, you receive a sensor tip (without lead) which may be used with the HBET Holder, Pocket-Probe® V, or for direct plug-in to ANY pyrometer of your choice (that accepts Mini-Plug terminated sensors). Sensors with “E” termination are discounted because they do not include a lead or proprietary Stainless Steel Overbraid our sensors are famous for. For a complete sensor with standard lead and Mini-Plug termination, order “M” terminated sensors.
Over 30 Sensor Tip Styles Available
Sensors for this product are sold separately.
The maximum temperature for Thermocouple Type T is 400 ºC.
All EDL Pyrometers come with a complimentary General Calibration performed in the production department. This calibration involves checking the unit (without your specific sensor) at key temperature points using our calibrators to ensure accuracy. We also offer NIST Traceable Calibration through our lab, which includes stickers and a calibration certificate. The calibration cost covers both the sensor and the pyrometer. You can choose your preferred calibration temperature point or a Lab-Determined point based on your industry requirements.
