EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Platen Surface Sensor

EDL’s Platen Surface Sensors are specifically designed to measure platens and press plates that can be closed up to 3/8 of an inch. Constructed from stainless steel, these sensors feature a spring-loaded sensing element that can endure pressures of up to 20,000 psi.

With a temperature rating of up to 500 °C (1000 °F) and standard diameters ranging from 1 1/2 inches to 3 inches, this sensor comes equipped with a 32-inch-long thermocouple-grade stranded #20-gauge wire, which is Teflon® insulated and twisted with a stainless-steel overbraid. Additional lead lengths and types are also available upon request.
