Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Mini-Versatile Surface Sensor

EDL’s Mini-Versatile Surface Sensors are designed to quickly and accurately measure temperatures in environments where there is a high risk of contaminants on the sensor’s surface, such as during injection mold temperature measurement. The Teflon® shell minimizes the heat sink effect and supports the tension on the band, allowing for precise temperature measurements of areas as small as 0.5 inches in diameter. Additionally, the Teflon® construction reduces the likelihood of marring or damaging delicate surfaces.

These sensors come equipped with a removable 3-inch plastic extension handle and can be modified for high-temperature applications. Ideal for use in oily or greasy environments, this Teflon-tipped temperature sensor is perfect for testing injection mold temperatures, delicate surfaces, and situations where contaminants may be present. Its small size makes it suitable for testing in confined spaces.

Handle 2.5” long, 0.625” diameter Aluminum double epoxy powder coated. Please note all 2.5” black powder coated handles are subject to change in diameter based on availability of raw materials.
