EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Insertion Sensor

EDL’s Insertion Sensor is a rugged version of a needle sensor, designed for applications requiring a durable insertion sensor that won’t bend. It is specifically engineered for easy and quick insertions into liquids or semi-liquids, making it ideal for environments where fluid turbulence may occur. Each sensor comes with a 3″ removable plastic handle for convenience.

These sensors are available in four temperature ranges to suit virtually any application, with capabilities of handling temperatures as high as 2500 °F. Standard lengths reach up to 12″, with longer options and various lead types available by contacting our helpful sales team. The diameters range from 0.125″ to 0.375″ (additional specialized diameters are available upon request by contacting our sales team), further ensuring that these Insertion Sensors are well-suited for insertion into semi-liquids and performing effectively in challenging conditions due to their robust construction and proven reliability.
