Description
ALL EDL Manufactured Instruments Receive General Factory Calibration at no charge – Automatically Checked at 0 °C, 38 °C, 538 °C, 1038 °C . However, we offer full NIST Traceable Calibration through our laboratory at specified temperature points for those that need to meet specific ISO or Quality standards, etc. Please note upon purchase, all of our Calibrators come with NIST Traceable Calibration – and if purchased as a Reference System your calibration certificate will include all items including the PRT (if purchased).
In addition to offering Calibration on new items, our laboratory offers re-calibration on both EDL and non-EDL products. Our lab offers full calibration on RTDs, Thermocouples, PRTDs, Thermistors, Liquid in Glass Thermometers, Analog Instruments & Sensors, and SPRT By Comparison Method. We offer testing from the Cryogenic Range up to above 1500 °C – to ASTM standards as needed with testing in all standard units. We offer service to outside labs and have the most accurate means of calibrating virtually ANY Surface Sensor – utilizing our STS Surface Transfer Standard Calibrator (also available for purchase).
In addition to calibration and re-calibration, we offer repairs when needed and always offer fair estimates without frivolous fluff. All calibrations are performed by qualified and reliable trained technicians, and we use only the most precise calibration equipment. Incoming calibration checks are available upon request – be sure to include this on your Support Request Form.
Our laboratory is an integral part of the company and it has allowed us to produce high-quality products for over 80 years. We are firmly committed to producing high-quality products and to providing the highest level of calibration service available. These are the ideals by which our calibration laboratory operates. EDL’s Calibration Laboratory achieves a high level of calibration on sensors and/or instruments to allow you to meet your Quality Control requirements and improve the accuracy of your measurements. Our laboratory provides a firm scientific foundation and direct traceability to the International Temperature Scale (ITS90) and the National Institute of Standards of Technology (NIST). You will note we only calibrate temperature monitoring equipment and have remained focused on this parameter since 1943.
