EDL’s Calibration Lab will supply any sensor and instrument complete with stickers and a calibration report traceable to NIST. When purchased with a Pyrometer, choose "Match Pyrometer" and the sensor will be calibrated to the custom settings you provide for the Pyrometer.
Specify your target temperature(s) below. Be sure to specify units (ºF or ºC). Calibration up to a temperature point of 1,022 ºF. Contact us directly if you need a higher point.

Bendable Needle Sensor

Discover the Bendable Needle Sensor from EDL. This innovative sensor, featuring a magnesium oxide-insulated thermocouple in a soft Stainless-Steel sheath, effortlessly adapts to bends and contours. Designed with a blunt tip, it is available in temperature configurations ranging from 1500 °F to 2500 °F, depending on the thermocouple type used.

Standard lengths range from 2 to 12 inches, with customization available. Three standard diameters (the most flexible at 0.059”, the medium thick 0.072”, and finally the more robust 0.125” diameter option) cater to various industries, and additional sizes can be built to your specific needs. The sensor is a part of several of our all-inclusive Temperature Kits (in “E” Termination) and is compatible with our HBET or HDRT Sensor Holder Systems, allowing you to purchase just the sensor tips.
