Roller contact sensors are designed to measure convex surfaces. They are extremely fast, accurate and versatile for all cylindrical surfaces. The contact bands are 0.005" thick by 0.375" wide Stainless Steel for the ultimate in durability and wear resistance.

This line of sensors typically exhibit stable readings in under 6 seconds.

This is the standard form of the Roller contact sensor. Roller contact sensors are designed to take the temperature of smooth, convex surfaces. These surfaces can be stationary or moving. The block is injection molded from a Glass filled grade of Nylon. The bands are hardened Stainless steel, so you get maximum wear and life from the sensor. These sensors will typically give you an accuracy of better than 0.5% of reading. Depending on the specific application, accuracies as close as 1.0° can often be attained.

Roller contact sensors are available in 2 1/2", 5" and 12" band lengths. These lengths are chosen according to the application.

Roller contact sensors are available with various types of ball bearing supports, teflon supports and Kapton coating.

This design is similar to the standard Roller contact but it is in a handle.

The band are available in 2.5", 5" and 12".

This is a Rolling roller sensor and it is normally made with a 2.5" band length. This sensor works well on measuring rotating or stationary diameters from 0.625" to 8.0".

This is the Roller band sensor and it is not used on cylindrycal objects. The Roller band sensor is desingned to measure moving flat surfaces at surface speeds of up to 1200 feet/minute. Due to the fact that the bands on this sensor are subject to wear they are replaceable.
