Straight Surface Sensor (SS-)

45º Surface Sensor (SS45-)

Versatile surface sensor (SVS-)
| • Designed to minimize amount of heat removed from surface
under test. • Unique thermocouple strain relief loop improves accuracy and allows additional flexibility for band junction. • Stainless steel restrictive bands allow for constant application. • The band flexes to fit any surface contour. |
Mini Wand Surface Sensor (SMW-)
| • Ideal for small areas, slots and crevices. • Sensing tip is 0.125” in diameter. • Ideal for use in plastics and rubber processing, and circuit board manufacturing. • Fastest response time of all surface sensors. |
Straight Rugged Surface Sensor (SRS-)
| • Rugged Surface Sensors require flat areas of only 0.25”
for fully accurate readings. • Tip is spring loaded and self centering to help operator achieve precision results. • Unique construction of flexible shaft and cap minimize amount of heat removed from surface under test. • Long Reach enables use in areas where other sensors are too bulky or short. |
Mini Leaf Surface Sensor (SML-)
| • May be used for both stationary or moving surfaces measurements,
such as rotating rubber wheels or continuous flow dough lines in
food industry. • Low mass stainless steel leaf sensor allows for excellent response time and reduces surface disturbances. |
Leaf Sensor (SL-)
| • Leaf Sensor is only 0.010” thick, providing fast and
accurate readings. • Ideal for readings where closely mated parts need to be measured. • Can be used in liquid. |
Long Shank Surface Sensor (SLS-)
| • Allows measurement of hard-to-reach areas safely. • Self aligning two-coil thermocouple design. • Extremely fast response with high accuracy. • Different shank length or lead length may be specially ordered. |
Magnetic Surface Sensor (SH-)
| • Designed for flat magnetic surfaces. • Will hold in any position with over 40 lbs. of force (CRS). • Eliminates permanent mounting. • EDL two-coil replaceable thermocouple. • Recommended for motors, machinery, mine equipment, coating lines etc... |
Low Profile Magnetic Surface Sensor (SLP-)
| • EDL two-coil design thermocouple. • 18lb. pull magnet holds the SS leaf spring securely against flat magnetic surface. • Terminated with a mini plug (Must use an extender lead terminated with a mini jack on one end). |
Roller Contact Surface Sensor (RC-)
| • Design of Roller Contact provides speed and accuracy when
measuring cylindrical surfaces. • Protected thermocouple enables use on drums, rollers, pipes, hoses, tanks, tubes, etc. • Surface speeds up to 10 ft./minute. • Glass filled nylon block withstands temperatures up to 200°C (375°F) Please request information for permanent installations. |
Rolling Roller Surface Sensor (RRH-)
| • Engineered for use on round, rotating or stationary surfaces. • Four ball bearing design acts as a restrictor preventing excessive pressure to band. • Assures long life and consistent temperature measurements with excellent repeatability. • Available with nylon block or handle. • Ordering kapton covering on the band offers extra protection in measuring delicate surfaces. |
Roller Leaf Surface Sensor (RL-)
| • The sensing leaf exerts minimal pressure against the object
under test. • Fast moving flat items can be measured accurately without a large friction influence or damage to the surface. • A latching assembly restricts leaf travel beyond wheels. • Sensing leaf is sold separately and easily installed. |
Roller Band Surface Sensor with Wheels (RB)
| • Designed for flat moving surfaces (up to 1200 ft. per minute). • Three wheels allow more control and smoother tracking on high speed surfaces assuring proper contact. • Bearings are resistant to high temperature. • Easily installed bands are sold separately |
