Shipping and Taxes

Items that are available and in stock will be shipped that same day if the order is placed before 2 pm. If a product is not in stock when you place your order, est. shipping delivery is 7 to 10 days from receipt of order. The availability information shown on our web site and provided by our sales staff is the most up-to-date information we have, but this information does not represent a guarantee or promise of availability. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your EDL online Order Confirmation Number. You will receive a Shipping Confirmation e-mail once your order has shipped. We will contact you if we have any questions regarding your order.

Shipping Method

We offer FedEx for EDL’s On-line Store shipments. Cost for shipping will be shown when checking out. You can estimate the shipping cost before placing the order at the bottom of the shopping cart page. If you ordered items that are not in-stock, we will contact you for indication if you would like available items to ship to you (partial shipment) or if you would prefer us to ship the order complete.

Ship Times

Orders placed for in-stock items by 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time typically ship the same day as the order is received, unless credit issues prevent order processing. Estimated ship dates for export orders are advised by e-mail after complete order review and approval. Non-stock items will ship within 7 to 10 days from receipt of order. We will contact you if this time frame is longer.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout depending on the items ordered and the ship to address. You may estimate shipping charges before completing checkout in the shopping cart section. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding shipping charges.

Taxes

Sales tax will be applied to orders shipping to addresses in Virginia & New York, unless a tax exempt certificate is on file or your organization is tax exempt.

International Customers

The EDL Online Store typically ships products to addresses in the United States. Export Control

EDL is committed to compliance with all U.S. Export Regulations and Laws. EDL will not sell or ship to countries embargoed by the U.S. Treasury Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). EDL will not sell or ship to individuals or organizations identified by the U.S. Treasury as Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons. EDL will not sell or ship products prohibited under Export Administration Regulations to individuals or organizations identified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). EDL will not seek export licenses pursuant to Export Administration Regulations. EDL participates in BIS Export Enforcement and OFAC transaction reporting. Furthermore, EDL prohibits the re-export, brokering or transshipment of its products to any individual, organization or country prohibited by the OFAC or BIS. The sale, resale or other disposition of Products, and any related technology or documentation, are subject to the export control laws, regulations and orders of the United States and may be subject to the export and/or import control laws and regulations of other countries. Customer agrees to comply with all such laws, regulations and orders. Customer further acknowledges that it shall not directly or indirectly export any Products to any country to which such export or transmission is restricted or prohibited. Customer acknowledges its responsibility to obtain any license to export, re-export or import as may be required.

Export Classification Disclaimer

Any use made of EDL classifications, whether it be ECCNs or any variation of Harmonized Tariff codes, is without recourse to EDL and at the user’s risk. Export classifications are subject to change. If you export or re-export, your company, as the exporter of record, is responsible for determining the correct classification of any item at the time of export. Any export classification by EDL is for EDL’s internal use only and shall not be construed as a representation or warranty regarding the proper export classification nor relied upon to make licensing determinations.
